About
OSLook (Open Source Look) helps developers discover open source projects and practical tools. We publish GitHub trend reports and share tools we maintain for working with browsers, AI APIs, and MCP servers.
What you can find here
GitHub trends and open source projects
Explore the blog for reports covering AI, programming languages, and databases. Each report introduces projects and records public signals such as stars and forks for its stated reporting period. You can also browse by topic to find technologies you use.
Developer projects
Our projects page introduces Chrome AI Playground, an interactive way to explore Chrome's built-in AI and Gemini Nano APIs, and MCP Servers Schemas, a directory of MCP server capabilities and tool definitions.
Chrome extensions
Our Chrome extensions support everyday tasks such as testing WebSocket connections, decoding and verifying JWTs, viewing GitHub file sizes, and formatting JSON. Each listing includes a description, a preview, and a link to Chrome Web Store.
Reading the trend reports
Reports describe the month or period shown in each article. Project activity and features change over time; follow the GitHub links to check the current README, license, and maintenance history when evaluating a project.
Contact and feedback
Feedback on articles, broken links, and our tools is welcome. Explore our public projects on GitHub, or email hello@oslook.com.
